The run that happened on Tuesday June 17th was, for our guild, nothing short of amazing. From start to where we finished off at the back door entrance, we ran for 2hrs by Gworka's timekeeping.

Here are the boss breakdowns from the start of each fight to the downing of the boss:

Attumen: 21 minutes
Moroes: 22 minutes
Maiden: 22 minutes
Opera - Romeo & Juliet: 23 minutes

During this entire run we had no wipes and only ever had 3 raiders down at any one time. It got scary when both priests were checking for their contacts on the floor, but Cptpoor and Druidclaw (when able to) did fantastic jobs of holding the line to keep everyone alive to the end of the fights.

A big thank you to all who turned out for the run, you guys made it fun to go on and hey!... we actually made a profit from it too!

Let's keep the momentum going and push for higher marks in future raids!

Sincerely,

UPDATE: June 18th

Well, the 2nd pass thru Kara saw a slightly different crew than Tuesday, but all in all a good time it was.

The Wrath Downed Illhoof!!

Coming up on the 4hr mark we tackled Shade, Illhoof, Chess Event and Prince. Both Shade and Illhoof were finished in roughly 22 minutes each. There was a rough start with Shade as a couple of new members hadn't been that far before, and we didn't do the redundant routine of going over the fight beforehand, so we got burned... literally. The second obstacle came when *yours truly* tried to rez one raider who was a *tad* too far into the room; I made Shade mad, he wiped us all as we stood at the door. I'm now just a Friar because of the incident jocolor Once we got everything sorted out, and everyone understood NOT TO MOVE DURING THE FLAME EVENT we managed to take Shade down. YAY OUR TEAM!

Going after Illhoof went very well. We cleared the initial mob of imps and readied the group for the main event. Once started, everyone kept a good eye on what was happening; chains were watched, debuffs were dispelled and holy luv was spread to all.

Attempting Prince was a something everyone wanted to try. Once there, we took a moment to rebuff, mana and change our shorts. That all done, we figured out a plan and went to town. Our first attempt didn't go so well, but we did see that 4 players *could* work Prince down... slowly, oooh so slowly, but he was indeed going down. The 2nd try was more organized, but a couple of unfortunate deaths from the big Fel "rock demons" and their "punishing pulse of death" (trademarked/copyrighted/registered) meant he was not for us to tackle that night. But his time is numbered and he will be downed.

We've reached our plateau and pushed beyond! Now that we have better gear and more people are getting used to our style of running, we can push for a quicker turn around in the instance and try for more boss fights in shorter times.

We have the 'toons...
We have the gear...
We want the purplz!

Again, awesome job and well done to all who participated on the runs. We'll be looking for you for the next ones.

Sincerely,
