RAIDING RULES
To get things down for all of us to see, and to pass on to our masses, to get in on a raid you need to sign up. All fairness shoved aside and buried 6-feet under kicking & screaming, it comes down to:
- Whoever shows up on raid night at the specified time, ready to go.
- If you're signed up on the list, you're in for sure.
- A grace period of 5mins will be observed to allow players to get online.
- If you're 1st sub and someone doesn't show up, be ready to take the spot right then as everyone else is waiting.
Now, some exceptions are out of Blizzard's design scheme:
- Tanks are REQUIRED. Waiting for one or more is a rule.
- Healers are PREFERRED. More than 1 is gravy on the fries. If you need to have a healer, you wait.
These are the only rules (alongside Ath's perma-ban on singing) we have to date. There is no special treatment of one player over the other - it is the class you play that decides how you're handled for raids. As War has mentioned, "10 Warlocks running Kara would be a blast, but it wouldn't last too long."
